NIMIX UN Certified Bulk Containers

The standard size of a NIMIX delivery container (IBC) is 264 gallons (1,000 liters). NIMIX UN certified containers have been used for eight years to help manufactures and users to overcome the problem of delivery and resuspension of materials.

Typical applications are:

• Resuspension of marine coatings
• Resuspension of copper catalysts
• Resuspension of chemical intermediates

Users of such systems are: Ciba Speciality Chemicals, International Paint, Akzo, BAE Systems, Ulstein Shipyard, and Hickson and Welch.

Example #1

A NIMIX UN certified IBC is used to resuspend marine coating in a shipyard. Material has a specific gravity of 2.55 and 70% w/w solids.

NIMIX IBC's have been constructed up to 396 gallons (1500 liters). They can have heating jackets and control instrumentation added.

A single drive station at the customer's site can be used to resuspend materials in a large number of containers.
