Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician
Robbins & Myers, Inc. a leading supplier of engineered equipment and systems for critical applications in global energy, industrial, chemical and pharmaceutical markets has an immediate need for a highly skilled Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician at our Dayton, Ohio location.
The successful candidate will be responsible for extensive trouble shooting, diagnosing and resolving issues with machines within the facility. Installation of new equipment, TPM, and general building maintenance are essential functions of this position as well.
The ideal candidate must have the ability to:
- Operate machine tools for the purpose of diagnosing issues and making corrections
- Install, repair, and alter various types of machinery, tools, and fixtures
- Successfully pass Welding Certification and Precision Measuring Device assessments
- Diagnose and repair complex electrical and electronic circuitry in NC, CNC, and conventional machines
- Working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electric systems
- Work independently with a minimum of direct instruction
- Handle competing priorities and multiple projects simultaneously
- Identify opportunities for improving processes using Lean tools
We are searching for a candidate with High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience. Prefer candidate with Associates Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electronics and related experience. Good working knowledge of shop mathematics, high level of skill within multiple disciplines of maintenance, and ability to read drawings, blue prints, and schematics is required. Chosen candidate must demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills as well as make mature and logical decisions. High energy level, excellent time management skills, and availability for emergency overtime to maintain production continuity are essential. Additional qualities expected include self-direction, tact, diplomacy, and exceptional organization skills.
